Phillips, Byron L It is with sadness that the family of Byron L Phillips of Tracy, NB, announce his passing at the White Rapids Manor on February 24, 2017. Byron was born in Tracy, NB, on March 15, 1925. He was the son of the late Dorothy (Golding) Phillips and Maurice Phillips and the husband of Ruth (Jones) Phillips.

Along with his wife, Byron is survived by his daughter Kathy (Larry) Nason of Tracy, his son Kevin (Dianne ) Phillips of Tracy, a sister Norma Foster of Maine, an adopted son Dr. Nelson Kofie, five grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, two Step Children; Sheryl (Doug) Wilson and Roy (Nicole) Willis and several nieces and nephews.

Byron was a Road Construction Businessman ( M.E. Phillips & Son Ltd) for over 70 years.  He spent a lot of his life serving the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and building the Kingdom of God.  He was part of the Anglican Diocese of Fredericton, Full Gospel Businessman, Atlantic Christian Ashram, Bridges of Canada, Gideon’s, Evangelical Sisterhood of Mary, the Sunset Church and the Village of Hope.

Along with Byron’s parents, he is also predeceased by his first wife Miriam (Allen) Phillips and one sister Edrie Kingston.

Visitation will be held at St. Marks Anglican Church on Tuesday February 28, 2017 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm.  The funeral will be held at St. Marks Anglican Church on Wednesday March 1, 2017 at 11:00am with Bishop George Lemmon officiating. Interment will be in the St. Marks Anglican Church Cemetery at a later date. If you wish, donations may be made in memory of Byron to the Village of Hope, Atlantic Christian Ashram or a charity of your choice.
