Carr – Frances Elizabeth Carr (Charlton) wife of the late Temple Carr passed away at the Oromocto Public Hospital on Sunday May 21, 2017. Born in Hoyt NB on December 3, 1919, she was the daughter of the late John & Mabel (Kirkpatrick) Charlton.

Frances loved to cook, her molasses cookies were second to none. She spoiled all her grandchildren with love and sweets, candy was always plentiful. She loved car drives, ball games, wrestling, ski-dooing, knitting and eating out. She loved showing pictures of her family when anyone came to visit.

Frances is survived by two sons, Leo (Judy) of Hoyt, Donald(Pansy) of Nackawic, one daughter Cheryl (Greg) Bruns of Hanna, AB. Four grandchildren: Michelle (Danny) Moore, Amy (Andrew) Mockler, Duane(Carrie) Carr, Sherri(Francis) Castonquay. 12 Great grandchildren, one great great grandson, Several step grandchildren, nieces and nephews and special friend Darlene Carr.

Frances was the last remaining member of her immediate family: besides her husband and parents she was predeceased by an infant son David, grandson Shawn and her brothers and sisters.

Frances was loved and cared for at Barries Special Care Home for almost four years.

Visitations will be held at Sunbury Funeral Home Tuesday, May 23, 2-4 & 6-8pm. The funeral will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 11 am Sunbury Funeral Home with Rev James Lewis officiating.
