Phillips, Frederick Ughtred – Family of the late Fred Phillips of Tracy, NB announce his passing on Saturday, June 3, 2017 in Barrrie, ON. Fred was born in Tracy and was the son of the late John Phillips and Nora Horne.

Fred was a heavy equipment operator for most of his working life. He was very active in the United Pentecostal Church in New Brunswick and Ontario. 

He will be missed by his daughter, Gail (Brian) Jones step-daughter,  Dot (Shawn) Comeau, sons; Jon (Bernice) Phillips, Ken Phillips, Wayne (Sharon) Phillips, step-sons; Ron (Chris) Phillips, Gerry (Susie) Phillips, Ken (Brenda) Phillips, sisters; Noreena Rogerson, Jane M. Copeland, one brother Noel Phillips, 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren several nieces and nephews..

Besides his parents, Fred was predeceased by his first wife; Margaret Redstone, and second wife Vera Phillips, step-daughter Wanda Nason, three sisters; Betty Connolly, Ginny Pospolita, Joyce Sprague two brothers; Harry Phillips and David Phillips.

Visitation will be held in the sanctuary of the Abundant Grace Pentecostal Church, Tracy, NB. on Friday June 9, 2017 from 11am - 12:30pm. The Funeral will follow visitations at 1pm. Interment will be in the Tracy United Baptist Cemetery. If you wish, donations may be made in memory of Fred to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Foundation or a charity of your choice.
