Whittaker, George Addison of Sand Brook Rd, Wirral, NB, passed away suddenly at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on July 22, 2012.
He was born on April 14, 1940 to the late George and Eva (Sinnott) Whittaker.
Addison was a Heavy Equipment Operator most of his working career and was a member of local 946 International Equipment Operators Union as well as in his younger years a licensed automotive mechanic.
He will be greatly missed by his wife Jackie (Sweet) Whittaker, his three daughters; Kimberley Boyd, Heather (Al) Ellingwood, Melissa (Ian) Theriault, three sons; Paul Whittaker, Addison (Kara) Sweet, Billy (Misty) Whittaker, three sisters; Doris (Al) Lingley, Vesta Bailey, Madeline (Jim) Moore, three brothers; Reg (Gerry) Whittaker, Winston (Agnus) Whittaker, Paul Whittaker, nine grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, his special camp buddies, and his best furry friend Buddy.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his two brothers; David and Brian Whittaker, one nephew Davey Whittaker, and grandson Dylan Boyd.
Relatives and friends are invited to Sunbury Funeral Home to pay respects to the family on Wednesday July 25, 2012 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be from Sunbury Funeral Home on Thursday July 26, 2012 at 11 am with Father Ken Weir officiating. Interment will be in the Patterson Cemetery.
