Tobin, Jackie Clarence – It is with sad hearts that the family of Jackie Tobin, age 72 of Fredericton Jct NB announce his sudden passing on Thursday September 15, 2016 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Jackie was born in Edmunston, NB, he is the son of the late Cecile Levesque and Thomas Tobin.

Jackie took great pride in his appearance, always making sure he was clean shaven.  He loved to go for drives and go to dances.  He also enjoyed scratch tickets, loved trains and his pets.

Jackie is survived by his partner Doreen Nason, four sisters; Nancy Stock, Patsy Martin, Trena Hookey, Dorothy Alphono, one brother Thomas Tobin and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Jackie is predeceased by five brothers; Leo Sr, Allison, Raymond, Ronald, Gordon, two sisters; Noreen Phebis and Marlene Cook.

Family and friends are invited for visitations on Sunday September 18, 2016 at Sunbury Funeral Home from 2-4 and 6-8pm   A funeral service will be held on Monday September 19, 2016 at 11am at the St. Columba Catholic Church in Fredericton Jct NB with Father Martin Arputham officiating.  Interment will be in the Tracy Baptist Cemetery.  Donations can be made in Jackie’s name to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to a charity of donor’s choice.  Arrangements are in the care of Sunbury Funeral Home, Central Blissville, NB.
