Kirkpatrick (Waddell), Lois Vella It is with sadness that the family of Lois Vella Kirkpatrick of Hoyt, NB, announce her passing at the White Rapids Manor on March 9, 2017. Lois was born in Saint John, NB, on April 10, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Mildred McCracken and Clyde Waddell and and the wife of Ross Kirkpatrick of 68 years.

Along with her husband, Lois is survived by her daughter Sharon (Kevin) Darrah, her son Wayne (Gaye) Kirkpatrick, a brother Cecil (Joanne) Waddell, six grandchildren: Sarah (Gary) Huggard, David (Tracey) Kirkpatrick, Daniel (Holly) Kirkpatrick, Stephen Kirkpatrick, Amanda Albright, Kyle (Nicole) Mitchell, ten great grandchildren; Madeline and Shane Huggard, Braxton and Corbin Kirkpatrick, Daisy Kirkpatrick, Dexter and Isaiah Albright, Nevaeh, Eva and Harvick Mitchell, a special friend Kay Tyerman,  and several nieces and nephews.

Lois was a homemaker and enjoyed her flowers.  She was a member of the Patterson Wirral Hospital Aid, past Board member of White Rapids Manor and Lower River Valley Antique Auto Club.

Along with Lois’s parents, she is also predeceased by a sister: Arleen Engallas her five brothers: Charles, Aubrey, Reginald, Donald, Eldon and infant grandchild Leanna Mitchell.

Visitations will be held at Sunbury Funeral Home on Sunday March 12, 2017 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm.  The funeral will be held at Sunbury Funeral Home on Monday March 13, 2017 at 1:00pm with Rev George Howe.Interment will be in the Patterson United Church Cemetery at a later date. If you wish, donations may be made in memory of Lois to the Patterson Historical Society or a charity of your choice.
