Mersereau, Norman (Norm) It is with great sadness, the family of Norman Ralph Mersereau of Hoyt NB, announce his passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on April 20, 2017. Norman was born in Fredericton Junction, NB, on July 27, 1951. He was the son of Marion (nee Queen) Mersereau and the late Ralph Mersereau.

Along with his mother, Norman is survived by his daughter Alanna Cornish  (Brian) of Hampton, NB, two sisters; Kathy Wright of Saint John and Susanne Evans (Galen) of Acworth, Georgia, two brothers; Ron Mersereau (Susan) of Hoyt and Nathan Mersereau (Michele) of Livonia, Michigan, two grandchildren; Brady and Emily Cornish,  six nieces and nephews; Cindy and Peter Mersereau, Diana and Justin Evans , Rachel and Allison Mersereau, Norman’s first wife and Alanna’s mother, Joanne Post, and close friends Kim and Cameron along with his canine buddy Duker. Norman was a Pentecostal Minister for many years.  He moved to Michigan, where he worked as a truck driver for Country Fresh for over 10 years. He was loyal to his family, had a great sense of humor and was always willing to help others in need.  Anyone who knew Norman discovered he had many passions in life: the Toronto Maple Leafs, NASCAR, Country Gospel Music, lawn maintenance, and communicating with friends through Facebook.  Norman was very proud of his grandchildren – Brady was his favorite goalie and Emily was the best dancer ever!!!
