Bro. Mersereau was a very special pastor and friend. He was a Dad to me when I needed one as a teen. I just recently heard of his passing. My sincere condolences to the family. Alanna used to sing a song about the Church Triumphant. He was truly part of that church. I miss him and all of you-the family. -Dan Rideout

Dear Mersereau Family, please know that we are praying for each and everyone of you, we send our sincerest condolences to you on the loss of Norm. I got to know Norm a few years back and we hit it off immediately we became very good friends and (I think that was because we were both great Toronto Maple fans:) ) I remember when he would come and spend the weekend with us we would dig out my corvette and we would go to Tims and just drive around talking about anything and everything, of course the conv. always came to Toronto Leafs about how they were doing and what we had to do to make changes lol .Norm would always talk about his family, he never missed any of you and of course it was always good never bad things.I met Norms' daughter, son in law and two grandchildren once at a hockey game, his grandson was playing. I could go on but I believe you know what kind of friend Norm and I became.

Dear Family Members, Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of your dear loved one . Losing a loved one can be the most difficult time in a persons life. Are we not truly blessed with the hope our Creator has given us of seeing our loved ones again. His loving comfort from the scriptures brings us much relief and confidence in the blessings of Jehovah's Kingdom. Revelation 21:4 "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” John 5:28,29 "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out" ." I hope these scriptures from God's word have brought you some comfort and you will be able to reflect on this wonderful hope when you think of your loved one.

Aunt Marion and Cousins Kathy, Suzanne, Ron and Nathan,
My heart is saddened at the passing of yet another family member. Norman encouraged and ministered to so many people, in spite of his own suffering. I believe that he may have reached out to even more than during his years when he pastored behind the pulpit. May his memory live on in the hearts of family and friends for many years to come.
I am sorry that I cannot be there at this time as we are still in Florida for a few more days. May you feel God's presence as you gather together in the days ahead.
