Leah Rose (Tapp) Currier
With heavy hearts the family of Leah Rose Emma (Tapp) Currier of Hoyt, NB announces her passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on January 10, 2024. Leah was born November 18, 1946 in Hoyt NB to the late Fern (Lunnin) and Joseph Tapp.
Leah will be dearly missed by her children; Kim (Jason McLaughlin) and Chaun (Shelley) Currier, her three grandchildren; Shane (Nikki), Thomas (Zoe) and Anthony (Ella), her great-granddaughter Maggie, a sister by choice Amy Tapp, special nieces and nephew Tania, Angela and Jeffrey, and many other special family members.
Leah was an adventurist type person, she loved her motorcycles, doing carpentry and she was a very talented painter. She had a degree in Education and taught shop. She had many passions, such as fishing, hunting, gardening, doing crafts and crocheting. She comes from a very musical family, and she herself could play the organ, guitar, mandolin and dobro to name a few instruments she was proficient.
Along with her parents, Leah was predeceased by an infant son John, her brothers; Allison, Ernest, Johnny, Abram and a sister Ruth.
Respecting Leah’s wishes, the Family will have a small gathering at the cemetery in the spring.
