Rosemay Webb Obituary

Obituary for Rosemay Marie (Blanchard) Webb

Rosemay Marie (Blanchard) Webb, born on May 22nd, 1943, in Bathurst, NB, departed this world on January 8th, 2024, after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's disease.

Rose is survived by her devoted husband of 46 years, Richard Murray Webb, and their cherished children: Janice Myles (Johnson), Philip Myles (Tanya), Scott Myles (Christine), and Tammy Webb (Stephen). She leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth in the hearts of her grandchildren: Aaron, Jordan, Daniel, Reuben (Leah), Nikhil, and Jessica. Rose is also remembered by her siblings: Irene Henschel (Bernie) of Ontario, Lorraine Bourque of Saint John, Eddy Blanchard (Noella) of Saint John, and pre deceased by Lynda Blanchard of Saint John.

Rose and Rich shared a special bond that was a testament to their unwavering commitment to each other and their shared belief in God. Rose, a true prayer warrior, had a deep, personal relationship with God, guiding her throughout her life.

Known for her generosity, Rose expressed her love and gratitude through her baking, creating moments of joy for all who had the pleasure of enjoying her creations. Family visits were marked by laughter and card games, creating memories that will be cherished forever. The summer retreats to their trailer in Shediac became a tradition, filled with happiness and shared moments.

Her grandchildren eloquently described their beloved grandmother as a "light in my life," one who made them feel special and loved. She was an amazing model of Christ, spreading love and joy, exuding playfulness, and offering unconditional love, strength, and commitment. Rose was the roots of her family, a kind and selfless woman, known for the best hugs. She was an incredible woman of God, intuitive and sensitive, leaving a significant impact on many lives. And most of all, her marriage was a model of how two people should love each other.

Rose leaves behind a lasting legacy of caring, compassion, faith, and love that will be deeply missed by all who were touched by her presence.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in her name to the Tri-County Center in Fredericton Junction, reflecting Rose's commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of others.
