It is with great sadness that the family of Susan Jayne (Burnett) Brewer announces her passing at the Dr Everett Chalmers Hospital on February 28 2024.

Born on July 23, 1954, in Fredericton Junction, NB, Susan was the daughter of the late Edison and Geraldine (Duplisea) Burnett.  She will be dearly missed by her husband, Michael Brewer; her daughter Robin (Jason) McBride; son Andrew (Nicole) Brewer; her grandchildren Adriana, Christian, Charlotte, Henry; her brother Robert (Ella Mae) Burnett; her nephews John (Sara) Burnett and Justin Burnett.

Susan was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and her family meant the world to her.  An esthetician for many years, she loved to travel and spend time at the camp exploring the back roads and lakes with Mike on their side by side.  An avid animal lover, Susan adored her cats and took great joy in watching the birds at her feeders and the occasional bear that stopped by.  She leaves a legacy of loving kindness and will be remembered by all for her laughter and joyful spirit.

A special thank you to Gail and Jimmy Dempsey and Ken Stone for their loving support during this difficult time.  The family would also like to thank Dr. Philip Brock and the nurses and staff of the Palliative Care unit at the Dr Everett Chalmers Hospital.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation at Sunbury Funeral Home on Sunday

March 3, 2024 from 3pm-6pm. Funeral service will held at 2pm on Monday, March 4, 2024 at Sunbury Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert McLean officiating.  Interment will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Gladstone Cemetery.
