We are grateful for the life of Barbara Pauline Benjamin (née Rice), born January 15, 1937, in Wirral, N.B., loving wife of Reginald Benjamin (2011),  died at the Oromocto Public Hospital on October 11, 2017.

She is survived by her devoted children, Debbie (Rheal) Kenny, Stephanie (Rick) Barnes, Trudy Benjamin (Kevin), Lisa (Keenan) Lord, John (Ronda) Benjamin; sisters Sylvia Henderson and Yvonne Rogers; brothers Charles, Richard, Carl, Brian, David, Bruce, Christopher and Terry; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews and lifelong friend Karen Mooney. Besides her husband Reg. she was predeceased by her parents Doris (Wooden) and John Rice; brothers Howard and Arthur and son-in-law Tim Gillett.

Pauline loved her gardens; her yard always looked beautiful. Her cats Misty and Mandy and her dog Bailey kept her company at home. Pauline had a kind heart that loved, respected and appreciated her family. She was a model of quiet dignity and dedicated her life to Reg and their children.

Pauline never wanted a fuss and there will be no visitation or funeral. Donations may be made to SPCA or a charity of donor’s choice in memory of Pauline.  Arrangements are in the professional and personal care of Sunbury Funeral Home.  Condolences: sunburyfuneralhome.com
