Tracy, Bliss Alden (Joe), Bliss (Joe) Tracy of Tracy, NB passed away at White Rapids Manor on June 1, 2018. Joe was born in Tracy, NB, on March 29, 1938. He was the son of the late Josephine (Phillips) Tracy and the late Lloyd Tracy. He was the husband of Sharon Tracy for 42 years.
Along with his wife Sharon, Joe is survived by three children; Shelly (Mark) Damery, Todd (Tamara) Tracy, Julie ( Dan) Tracy, two stepdaughters Melissa (Mark) Nowlan and Debbie Reynolds, four siblings; Jeanette Tracy, Bonita (Fraser) Waugh, Roger (Eloise) Tracy and Lucille (Rod) Reid, six grandchildren; Brittany Anderson, Dakota (Mark) Anderson, Brody Levesque, Colby Shannon, Gunner Tracy, Raine McKeen and one step grandson Nicholas Reynolds, one great grandson Parker Harris, several nieces and nephews and his german sheppard friend Ben.
Joe worked as a contract lineman for over 22 years. He also worked at UNB at the Physical Plant for 15 years. Upon retirement from UNB, he started landscaping with his brother Roger. Joe loved spending time at his camp with Sharon, family and friends. He loved fishing, hunting, gardening and four wheeling. Joe taught his four nephews; Stephen, Craig, Mathew and Zander how to hunt, LOL!
Along with his parents, Joe is predeceased by two brothers; Norman and Keith and a sister Eileen.
A special Thanks to the staff of White Rapids Manor who took such great care of Joe for the last nine months.
A private family service will be held at Sunbury Funeral Home. Donations in memory of Joe may be giving to White Rapids Manor or the Alzheimer’s Society or a charity of your choice.
