Bawn, Erice Harold. It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Erice Harold William Bawn at White Rapids Manor on October 17, 2018. Erice was the youngest son of the late Sarah Grace (Young) and William John Beverley Bawn. He was born in Fredericton on November 2, 1949 and lived most of his early years in Devon until he met the girl of his dreams Dianne, and moved to Tracy, NB.
Erice is survived by his loving wife Dianne (Nason) and their little Maltese ”Lindy”, a sister Sally Ann (Robert) Chase, a brother Beverly Young Bawn (Margaret), a brother –in-law Wayne Nason (Linda), and nieces and nephews.
Erice was also predeceased by his in- laws, Glen and Winnie Nason as well as niece Susan Marie Chase.
Erice loved watching all sports, and enjoyed playing hockey, baseball, softball, golf and curling. He was inducted into the Sports Wall of Fame as a member of the Fredericton Juniors Vikings Baseball team in May 2017 and into the Oromocto Wall of Fame as a member of the Hoyt Schooners in 2018. Erice was employed with NB Power until his retirement in 2005. He was a member of the 25 years club, The Masonic Lodge, Gladstone Curling Club, The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #55, and previously coached minor hockey at the Tri County Complex.

Visitations will be held at Sunbury Funeral Home on Monday October 22, 2018 from 6-8pm. A Graveside Service will be held at the Taymouth Community Cemetery Tuesday October 23, 2018 at 1pm. Donations in memory of Erice may be given to the Taymouth Community Cemetery, Fredericton SPCA or a charity of your choice. Following the burial, a public reception will be held at Gibson Memorial United Church at 2:15pm in the music room. Located at 183 Gibson st Fredericton.
