I will always consider Genia as a second Mom. When ever I was at her place I was treated just like the other kids and if I needed a slap I got one. And when I needed someone to talk to she was there. Genia taught me to swim, through her instruction with Canadian Red Cross. I taught her and Joan Hoyt tole painting one day lol like they needed teaching. May God give you all the comfort that u need at this time. I will always remember you Genia❤️ RIP until we meet again and please give Mom and Dad a big hug for me.

Jim, I am so sorry for the loss of your sister; I know what it is like to lose your best friend. Take comfort in knowing that she is free of pain and with loved ones. I too will miss her, as she was like a second mother to me since I was a child. Rest easy, Gena and God bless.

I'll take this opportunity to pay tribute to a lady that spoiled me all her life. I spent time at her house in pre-school days, school times, adult times. She always accepted me like family, treated me like I deserved attention, and supported me in anything I did, or needed. I admired her immensely, loved her dearly, and will cherish her friendship for the rest of my life. She will always be a very fine lady in my memories.

I am left with many fond memories of Genia. Camping out at South Branch Lake, many Christmas dinners and (picking potato bugs off the leaves (lol). We talked about this last week while she was at Bobby's.)---We had many opportunities to pray and talk of the Lord in the past little while and I know beyond the shadow of a doubt that she is now with Him, where there are no more tears, no pain and no death. This is our blessed hope. See you on the other side Genia. L.
