Frederick Thomas Charters

Charters, Frederick (Fred) Thomas – It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Fred Charters of Fredericton NB on September 5, 2018.  Born in Fredericton on September 24, 1948.  The son of the late John Edward and Helen Jean (Harnish) Charters of Beaverdam.

He worked for the City of Fredericton for 35 years serving most of those years with Parks and Trees Division.  He loved all of his family had a love for the outdoors which included hunting and fishing.

Fred will be deeply missed by his wife, the love of his life Frances and his children Daniel (Theresa), Cindy (Larry), Heidi (Noel), grandchildren; Jessica, Ethan, Christina and great granddaughter Abigail.

Survived by sisters; Leona Lewis(Late Jack), Debbie Munn ( Jim), Mabel Finnie (Michael), brothers; Eugene Charters (Mary), Mowatt Charters (Dianne) as well as several nieces and nephews and sister in law Lois (David) Hooper and good friend Henry Babineau.

Predeceased by sisters; Rosie, Bonnie, Ramona, Frances, Wanda, Lena, Shirley, brothers; Dayne, Glendon and Jack Jr.

Memorial service will be at New Maryland United Church Cemetery on Monday September 10, 2018 at 11am. In lieu of visitations, there will be a reception following the committal at the New Maryland Rec Center.
