Castonguay, Helen A (Henderson) – With great sadness, the family of Helen A Castonguay (Henderson) of Fredericton Junction, NB, announce her passing at the Fredericton Hospice on January 11, 2018.  Born in Devon, NB on April 19, 1941 to the late Cora Henderson (Dunphy) and Ralph Henderson.  She was the loving wife of Noel Castonguay.

Helen was a wonderful person who dearly loved her family and friends.  She also loved to knit and volunteer at the Tri County Complex.  She drove a school bus for 17 years and loved all the kids. Helen had a keen sense of humour and wit and loved to share her gift with those she cherished. 

Helen is survived by her husband of 60 years Noel Castonguay, five daughters; Alma Castonguay, Brenda Phillips (Kenneth), Della Baker, Evelyn Phillips (Matt), Francine Butler (Troy), two sons; Claude Castonguay and Francis Castonguay (Sherri),  twelve grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, Helen is also predeceased by two sisters; Lucy Moul and Elizabeth Henderson, and one brother Robert Henderson, one grandchild Laura and son-in-law Wayne.

 Family and friends are invited to Sunbury Funeral Home, Central Blissville NB on Sunday January 14, 2018 for visitations between 1-4pm.  Funeral Service will be held at St. Columba Catholic Church on Monday January 15, 2018 at 3pm with Father Ken Weir officiating. Interment will be in the spring. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Tri-County Complex or, to a charity of your choice.
