James Allen Phillips

Phillips, James Allen – It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of James Phillips of McAdam NB on December 28, 2018.  Born in Tracy, NB on September 15, 1939.  The son of the late Allen Phillips and Roxie (Nason) Phillips of Tracy, NB.

James worked over 33 years with CP Rail as an operator.  He loved the outdoors; he was an avid hunter, fisherman and made his own maples syrup.  He spent many hours biking and hiking thru the woods.  He was also an active member of Voice of Pentecost Church.

 He is survived by two sons; John (Trina) Phillips and David Phillips, one sister Lottie Phillips, three grandchildren: Johnathon, Josilyn and Grace and one great grandchild Naomi and several nieces and nephews.

 Along with his parents, he is also predeceased by one son Allen Phillips, one sister Marina Hendry, and one brother Travis Phillips.

Visitations for James will be at 10am on January 2, 2019 at Voice of Pentecost Church in McAdam, NB.  The Funeral Service to follow at 11am with Rev. Stephen Tompkins officiating.  Donations in memory of James may be given to the church or to a charity of your choice.  Interment will be in the spring. Arrangements are in the professional care of Sunbury Funeral Home, Central Blissville, NB.
