John Brian Nason

Nason, John Brian – After a long valiant battle with many health issues, the family wishes to announce the passing of John Nason of Tracy, NB on October 17, 2018. John was born in Fredericton, NB on October 11, 1979 to Barbara (Gilmore) and Brian Nason. 

Besides his parents, John is survived by his brother David and two nephews Tim and Tom Nason.

John lived every day to the fullest; he loved to be out in the woods on his 4 wheeler or hunting with his family and friends.  He was able to go out moose hunting this season with his father one last time and was there when his father got his moose.  He was a member of Hope City Church.  He loved the Lord and stood for his beliefs.  John loved to play the guitar.  He played bass in the group “Never the Same” when he lived in Carleton County and they produced a CD.  He was part of the Praise and Worship team at the Village of Hope when he attended there.  John studied Accounting and Business Admin at Compu College, and worked at many different jobs, some in his field and others not.  He graduated as and EMT and he put those skills to work in the community by volunteering as an EMT with the Sunbury West Ambulance service, Hoyt Search and Rescue as well as the Carleton York Search and Rescue.  The family wishes to thank all who have cared for John over the years.

John was pre-deceased by his brother Andrew, a special Aunt Rachel McLaughlin (Bill), his paternal grandparents Vivian & Eugene Nason, and maternal grandparents Ralph & Irene Gilmore.

 Family and friends are invited to Sunbury Funeral Home, Central Blissville NB on Sunday October 21, 2018 for visitations between 2-4pm and 6-8pm.  Funeral Service will be held at Abundant Grace Church on Monday October 22, 2018 at 2:00pm with Rev. Justin Beesley officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice Fredericton, the Village of Hope or to a charity of your choice.  Arrangements are in the professional care of Sunbury Funeral Home, 5407 Route 101, Central Blissville, NB (368-2413).
