Lyman Delbert Webb

January 19, 1937 ~ July 17, 2018 (age 81) 81 Years Old

Lyman Webb Obituary

Webb, Lyman Delbert.   It is with great sadness, that the family of Lyman Delbert Webb announce his passing on July 17, 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital.  Lyman is the husband of Inez Webb.   He was born in Tracy, NB on January 19, 1937 to the late Bertram and Rhoda (Tracy) Webb.

Lyman is survived by three sons; Anthony (Dawn), Michael (Faye) and Steven (Pam) Webb, two sisters; Inez Phillips and Rowena (Carl) Gillett, two grandchildren; Ryan and Mallory Webb, four Step Grandchildren; Melissa, Alex, Jordon Foster and Raven Wilson, one great grandchild Becca Webb, one Step Great Grandchild Corvis Wilson, and several nieces and nephews.

Lyman worked for NB Power for over 30 years as a Stationary Engineer, and was a member of NB Powers 25 year club.   He worked all over NB at various Generating Stations, and he and Inez made lasting friends wherever they went.   He was a member of the Tracy United Baptist Church.  Lyman was also very active in his community; he was on the Board of Directors of the Sunbury West Historical Society and Legion Estates.  Lyman was a very talented musician, he loved to play his guitar and sing, and he played and sang at many events and was a member of the Villagaires.  Lyman was treasurer of the Community paper, Rural Edition.  He was also a founding member of the Liars Club at the local diner, where many hours were spent solving all the world’s problems.  He loved to hunt, fish and play golf.

He was predeceased by a granddaughter Becca Webb, a sister Marvel Nason,, a brother Tracy Webb and two brothers in law Ewart Phillips and Ray Nason. 

Visitations will be held at the Tracy United Baptist Church on Friday July 20, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. The funeral will be held at the Tracy United Baptist Church on Saturday July 21, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Maurice Hatfield officiating.   Internment will follow in the Gladstone Cemetery.   In lieu of flowers, donations to Sunbury West Historical Society or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Condolences: sunburyfuneralhome.com
