Nason, Marilyn. It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear Mother Marilyn Elaine Nason at her home in Fredericton, NB. on November 21, 2016. Born August 17, 1944 in Fredericton Junction, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Shirley (Ryder) Artes.

Marilyn worked most of her career for the NB Liquor Licensing Board, retiring from Compliance in 2002. She was a member of the Gibson Memorial United Church.

Marilyn is survived by her sons; Troy (Angela), Andrew (Laurie), Grandchildren; Matt, Kristina, Zak, sister; Carolyn (Lonnie) Daley. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brother Gordon Artes, husbands Eric Mersereau, Edwin Nason and partner Jeff Plant.

Visitations will be on Friday, Nov 25 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Sunbury Funeral Home, Blissville, NB. A Memorial service will be on Saturday, Nov 26 at 1pm at Sunbury Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Brian MacDonald.

For those who wish to donate in Marilyn’s name, her charity of choice was the Fredericton SPCA. Her dog Molly Jane left paw prints on her heart.
