Phyllis Lillian (Wright) Crombie

Crombie, Phyllis Lillian (Wright) – With great sadness, the family of Phyllis Crombie of Hoyt, NB, announce her passing at White Rapids Manor on December 31, 2018.  Born in Wirral, NB on December 12, 1921 to the late Minnie ( Wright ) Wright and Frank Wright.  She was the loving wife of the late Ford Crombie.

Phyllis was a wonderful person who dearly loved her family; she was a homemaker looking after her four children.  She was very active in the Calvary Pentecostal Lighthouse Church.

Phyllis is survived by two daughters; Donna Brewin of Addison, ON, Diane Rice of Langley, BC, one son Richard (Dorothy) Crombie of Hoyt, NB, one sister Muriel (Dean) MacDonald of Tracyville, NB, seven grandchildren; Wade (Wayne), Kenny, Wanda (Mark), Melinda (Joe), Madonna (Tim), Richard Jr and Gary Jr (Dawn), eleven great grandchildren; Matthew, Joshua, Emily, Chelsea, Robin, Aron, Matthew, Kristin, Jason, Scott and Eve, five great-great-grandchildren; Jacob, Shaylyn, Damian, Hunter and Jenna,  adopted Nan to Amanda, Kyle, Joleen, Gordie, Dexter, Isaah and Kimberley, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Along with her husband and parents, Phyllis is also predeceased by a son Leslie Crombie, a sister Grace Sprague, three brothers James (Pauline), Leslie (Ruth) and Frank Wright and her son-in-law Gary Brewin.

Family and friends are invited to Sunbury Funeral Home, Central Blissville NB on Thursday January 3, 2019 for visitations between 2-4 and 6-8pm.  Funeral Service will be held at Sunbury Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Lewis officiating on Friday January 4, 2019 at 2:00pm. Interment will be in the spring. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
