Wolters, Annigje Wolters (DeKlerk) of Keswick Ridge , NB, passed away suddenly at home on February 24, 2016. Annigje (Ann) was born in Holland on June 3, 1936 to the late Dirk and Agnes (Blom) DeKlerk and the wife of 60 years of the late Pieter Wolters.
Ann and her late husband operated Woltripp Dairy Farm in Keswick for over 31 years before retiring and leaving the farm operation to their daughter (Nettie) and her husband (Glen). They were founding members of the Fredericton Christian Reformed Church, Greater Fredericton Christian School Society, Fredericton Bibles for Missions Thrift Store, as well as the Men and Women Society. She also was Sunday School teacher and Calvinettes (GEMS) counsellor for many years.
Ann is the mother of daughters: Barbara (Ed) Wesselius, Nettie (Glen) Pye, Annie (Kevin) Smith, Jennifer (Burton) Foster, Sheryl Wolters, and sons: Dick (deceased in infancy), Rick (Sam) Wolters, Ben (Joy) Wolters, Peter (deceased) (Frances) Wolters, Sidney Wolters. She also leaves behind 28 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grand son; her siblings; Ellie, Wilhelmina, Jannie, Corrie, Arie, Dick and Jack; and many nieces, nephews and friends to mourn her passing.
Along with her parents and husband, Ann is predeceased by her sons Dick and Peter and siblings Agnes, Frances and Rita.
At Ann’s request, there will be no visitation. The funeral service will be held at the Fredericton Christian Reformed Church, 121 McAdam Ave, Nashwaaksis, on Sunday February 28, 2016, with Pastor Harold A. Winter officiating. A potluck lunch will be held in the church basement at 12:00 noon followed by the funeral service at 1:30. Interment will be in the spring.
