Barbara Lois (Palmer) Jones

Jones, Barbara Lois (Palmer) The family of Barbara Jones of Fredericton, NB wish to sadly announce her passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on May 31, 2022.  Barbara was born on November 16, 1948 in Fredericton, NB to Eugena (Cochrane) and Raymond Palmer.  She was the loving wife of Frederick Jones.

Along with her husband, Barbara is survived by a special son Andrew Flowers, brother Glen (Bertha) Palmer, step brother Ronald (Marie) Colwell, step sister Susan (Bryce) McCracken, aunt Sheila Cochrane, uncles; Charles Cochrane, Lawrence (Joyce) Cochrane and Ralph Cochrane, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.  Of course her dog Roxy will forever miss her!

Barbara, whose nickname is “Goody”, was a homemaker and those who knew her well described her as very caring and compassionate person.  In her spare time she loved to read and watch game shows, especially family feud, and she might of had a crush on Steve Harvey.  She also loved music, and especially enjoyed watching The Jones Brothers play together.  Barbara loved and collected Cathering Karnes Munn prints and had an extensive collection. 

Along with her parents, Barbara is predeceased by her step father Ralph Colwell and a sister Sandra Wilson.

Relatives and friends are invited to Sunbury Funeral Home in Central Blissville, NB on Monday June 6, 2022 at 1pm for a service to honor her life, with Rev. Maurice Hatfield officiating.
