Caissie, Belonie (Ben) Joseph. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Belonie Caissie on September 30, 2015 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Ben was born in Bronson Settlement, NB. on September 23, 1931 to the late Mary Ann Richard and Sam Caissie.
Ben worked in the woods most of his working life. He loved the woods, spending time hunting, fishing and 4wheeling. Ben was a life member of the RCL Branch 74.
Survived by his two daughters; Care Fortune, Cathy-Ann (Rickey) Caissie, sons; Alphie (Nic) and Stephen (Ellie) Caissie, three sisters; Genevieve, Irene, and Rena, two brothers; Gerald, Bob (Lorna), nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and fiancé; Roberta Doucette
Besides his parents, Ben is predeceased by his wife Alma (Boudreau) Caissie, one son, David and sister, Theresa.
Friends and family are invited to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #74 Chipman, for visitation on Friday October 2, from 6 to 8 pm. Funeral Service will be at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on Saturday Oct. 3 at 11am with Father Paul Bibodu. Interment will be at a later date. Pallbearers will be Ben’s nine grandchildren
