The death of Bertha McAleer, affectionately known as Bertie, formerly of South Oromocto Lake, accurred at the special care home in Big Cove, NB on May 20, 2015.
Bertha was born in South Oromocto Lake on October 21, 1937. She was the daughter of the late John and Grace McAleer. Bertha was the last member of her family being the only child.
There will be no visitations. A memorial service will be held at The Lighthouse Pentecostal Church on Boyne Road in Hoyt at 2pm on Tuesday May 26, 2015, with Pastor Alan McMannus officiating.
Interment will be at the South Oromocto Lake Cemetery followed by a reception at the Fire Hall. If you wish, donations in memory of Bertie may be made to the South Oromocto Lake Cemetery or a charity of your choice.
