Beverley Irene (Brooker) Ward

Ward, Beverley Irene (Brooker) of Toronto ON and Tracy NB passed away peacefully at the Grand River Hospital in Kitchener, ON October 25, 2015. Beverley was born on September 11, 1936 in Newtonbrook, ON to the late Irene (Emery) and Herbert Brooker.

Beverley was a teacher and home maker to her family. She loved cooking and gardening, and was involved in volunteering at many church and community events. She was the rock who supported her husband, the late Rev. Canon Philip P.B. Ward (2006). Beverley was a member of the Anglican Church of Canada, the Anglican Church Women, and a founding member of Farrline Board.

Survived by her three sons: Stephen Ward (Maryanne), Christopher Ward (Peggy), Paul Ward, (Lily), four siblings Bert Brooker, Barry Brooker, Carol O’Sullivan, and Lynda Brooker, 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Beverley is predeceased by her parents and husband, and one sibling Bruce Brooker (2014).

Visitations will be held at St. Mark’s Anglican Church Tracy NB on Friday October 30th 2015 from 7-9pm with a Funeral service also to be held at St. Marks Anglican Church on Saturday, October 31st 2015 at 2pm.           Bishop George Lemmon and Rev. Bill McMullin officiating.

If you wish, donations in memory of Beverley may be made to Evangelical Sisterhood of Mary, R.R.1, Millet, AB. Canada T0C 1Z0. Arrangements are in the care of Sunbury Funeral Home, Blissville, NB.
