It is with great sadness that the family of Burton Victor Nason of Fredericton, NB.  announce his passing on July 3, 2025 at the York Care Center at the age of 86.  Burton was the son of the late Clara (Hartt) and Victor Nason.  He was the loving husband of Jacqueline (St. Amand) Nason.

Along with his wife Jacqueline, Burton will be missed by his sons; Andy and Michael (Vikki) Nason, three stepchildren; Gayle Armstrong (Rob), Scott (Lise)  and Blair Nelson, sisters; Glenna Bell and Carol King, along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Burton worked with Canadian Pacific Railway as a Signal Maintainer for 32 years. and he also served in the Navy for five years as an electrician.  In his spare time, he enjoyed playing cards, darts, dominos, dancing and singing.

Along with Burton’s parents, he is also predeceased by a sister Miriam Dares and brothers Vernon, Walter and Ross Nason.

Family and friends are invited to a Graveside Service on Wednesday July 9th, 2025 at 2pm at the Gladstone Cemetery in Fredericton Junction, NB with Rev. Maurice Hatfield officiating.
