Coronavirus / COVID -19 Health measures
March 23, 2020
Like everyone else, we here at Sunbury Funeral Home are monitoring the Coronavirus / Covid 19 outbreak and doing what we can to protect the health and well being of our families, customers and staff. As a result, for the foreseeable future, we will be taking precautions to help ensure the health and peace of mind of all those entering our Funeral Home. Denise and I wanted to share these with you and ask for your cooperation in trying to keep everyone safe.
We are still available 24/7 to serve the needs of our community.
Families needing to make funeral arrangements or just need to talk to a staff member, please call first to make arrangements or schedule an appointment.
We encourage you to use hand sanitizer and wash your hands regularly.
We will be doing all we can to disinfect the common area in the funeral home, especially things we touch or may come in contact with, such as the bathrooms, door handles, light switches, counters hand rails etc.
We are still able to schedule funeral services with a maximum of 10 attending the service.( including Clergy and Director)
Because of the rapid development of Covid 19, Sunbury Funeral Home will continue to review and update our policies and procedure based on the guidelines on provincial public health notices and requirements.
While everyone understands the importance of coming here to support family and friends at a time of loss, if you are not feeling well, having flu like symptons, or running a fever, please stay home until you recover.
We thank everyone for their understanding as we continue to monitor the situation and determine the best way to protect everyone. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to talk to us.
