It is with sadness that the family of Darren Benjamin of Doaktown, NB announces his passing in Fredericton, NB on April 27, 2025. Darren was born on July 2, 1985, to Gaetane (Eric) Peterson and John (Ronda) Benjamin.

Along with the two sets of parents, Darren is survived by his two children, Catherine "Cate" and Cohen Benjamin (their mother, Julie Lyons); four brothers: Ian (Samantha), Shane (Ashley), Derik (Jaycie) Benjamin, and Joshua (Teresa) Jones, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Darren will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, kindness, and the deep love he carried for his children. He felt most at peace in the woods, where he spent many years doing the work he was proud of. He will be missed and lovingly remembered by those who knew him.

Family and friends are invited to Visitations at Sunbury Funeral Home in Central Blissville, NB, on Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 5–7 pm. A service will be held at the same location on Friday, May 23, 2025, at 1 pm with Maurice Hatfield officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate any donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association of New Brunswick or Under The Tent Outreach Inc. (546 St. Mary's St, Fredericton, NB E3A 8H5).
