It is with great sorrow that the family announce the passing of Doris Elizabeth (Brawn) Robison of Wirral, NB on May 12, 2024 at White Rapids Manor in Fredericton Junction, NB.  Doris was born October 17, 1936 at South Oromocto Lake to the Late Archie and Flo (London) Brawn.  She was predeceased by her husband of 39 years MWO (ret’d) Vernon H. Robison, MMM, CD, (RCAF).

Doris will be missed by her two sons; Kevin (Tammy) of Saskatoon, Darren and Patsy (Collrin) of Wirral, bonus daughter Glenda Cantley of Winnipeg, four grandchildren; Major Brianne Strong CD, RCAF (Mathew, Major, CD, RCAF) of Winnipeg, Kearstin Saunders (Lenny) of South Oromocto Lake, Kristopher Cantley (Megan) of Calgary and Terran Thiessen of Saskatchewan, seven great grandchildren whom she adored Lily, Madilyn, Abigail, Theodore, Nathan, Emmett and Watson.  She is also survived by her sister Frances Lingley of Woodman’s Point, two sisters-in-law Doris (Nason) Robison of Port Colborne Ontario and Rose (Nason) Brawn of South Oromocto Lake, special cousin Faye Brawn of Oromocto, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Doris was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She was so proud of all her family.  Doris worked for over 17 years on various Military bases, starting at the Officers Mess at Chatham AirForce Base and finally at the Officers Mess in Base Gagetown, where she eventually retired.

Along with her husband, Doris was also predeceased by four brothers: Bobby, Carman, Hazen (Nellie) and Leslie (Shirley) Brawn, sister and brother-in-law Olivia Howe and Myron Saunders, brothers-in-law Harold Robison and Robert Lingley, also her special friend Leonard Hooper of St.-George, NB.

Following Doris’s wishes, there will be no Visitations. A Graveside Service will be at South Oromocto Lake Cemetery on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at 2 PM

For those who wish, the family would appreciate any donations to the South Oromocto Lake Cemetery in Doris’s name.
