Carr, Dorothy Lydia (Nason) With great sadness, the family of Dorothy Carr of Tracy, NB announce that she went home to be with her Lord on July 12, 2015. She was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Born in Fredericton Junction, NB on May 4, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Alma Mersereau and Angus Nason. Dot will be missed by Dennis, whom she was married to for 64 years. She worked in the banking system for many years, once she retired she joined Dr. Richardson at the Fredericton Junction Medical Clinic as a part-time bookkeeper for 25 years. She was very active in her church as a Sunday School Teacher, Assistant Treasurer also involved with Pioneer Club and VBS.                                                                                                                         Besides her husband Dennis, Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Judy Tapp(Mark), son, Gary Carr(Brenda), Sister, Rowena Butler(Bert), Brother, Roger Nason(Jaunita), three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Dorothy is pre-deceased by her sister, Gwendolyn Webb and brother Murray Nason.                                                                                                                                                                       Family and friends are invited to Tracy United Baptist Church, Willow Av. Tracy NB, on Wednesday July 15, 2015 for visitations between 2-4pm and 6-8pm.  Funeral Service will be held at Tracy United Baptist Church on Thursday, July 16 at 11am with Rev. James Harrison officiating. Interment will be in Tracy United Baptist Cemetery following the service. If you wish, a donation may be made in Dorothy’s memory to Tracy United Baptist Church Memorial Fund, White Rapids Mini Bus or charity of choice.
