Dorothy Elizabeth (Mersereau) Phillips

Phillips, Dorothy Elizabeth (Mersereau) On May 5, 2022, with family by her side, Dorothy Phillips passed away peacefully at home.  Dorothy was born on October 27, 1931 in Tracyville, NB to the late Freda (Noble) and Winslow Mersereau.

Dorothy is survived by her loving, caring husband of 71 years Noel Phillips, a son Philip (Sherry) Phillips, four daughters; Dianne Phillips, Deborah (Dale) Sloan, Vicky (Ken) Thomas and Maureen (Ben) Lyon, ten grandchildren; Shawna, Chantelle (Scott), Danielle, Melissa (John), Amanda (Kirk), Kara, Devon (Kelsey), Lacee (Dan), Cody and Katie,  twelve great grandchildren; Emma, Brooklyn, Luke, Allie, Landon, Jake, Logan, Lauryn, Camden, Ivy, Elliot and Evie, and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, Dorothy is predeceased by four sisters;  Ida Scott, Ruth Lindfors, Donna Hoyt and Judy Artis, five brothers; Raymond, Vernon, Hilton, Trevor and Glenwood Mersereau.

Dorothy was a loving and caring woman, her family, her strong faith and the Capital Community Church were the most important things in her life. 

Relatives and friends are invited to Capital Community Church at 71 Downing St, Fredericton for visitation on Monday May 9, 2022 from 4-7 pm.  The Funeral Service will be on Tuesday May 10, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Capital Community Church with Pastors Jack Leaman and Raymond Woodward officiating.  For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations to Global Missions, Capital Community Church would be greatly appreciated by the family.
