Dorothy was a wonderful person who dearly loved her family; including those who affectionately came to call her “Momma or Nanna”. She started a career in the Air Force, but then a short time later she met Charlie and became a military wife, mother, grand-mother and great grand-mother. Later in life she worked as a Postal Clerk at the local Post Office, was Girl Guide and Brownie leader for several years, and a volunteer Meals on Wheels. In addition she was long time member of the Ladies Auxillary and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #55.
Dorothy is survived by her husband Charlie; daughters Patti (Bob) Saulnier, and Cindy Plaster. One son Bill (Cathy) Plaster, daughter-in-law Mary, mother to Dorothy’s only grandchildren Melissa (Ken) Dearman, Patrick (Tonia) Plaster. Four great grandchildren; Hayden, Karden, Rayden, Gavin, one sister, Irene (Roy) Dickinson
