Frederick Grant Burton

Frederick Grant Burton.  With heavy hearts the family of Frederick Grant Burton of Fredericton Junction, NB announces his passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on April 4, 2024 at the age of 67 after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Fred is survived by Leonard Burton (Paula) of Hoyt, Gladys Burton of Riverview, David Burton (Kimberly) of Hoyt, Dixie Drummond of Fredericton Junction, William Burton of Fredericton, Margaret Burton of Fredericton, Susan Burton (Rob) of Tracyville, several nieces and nephews. Special friends Bliss Munn, Krista, Robin, Terri and Sue.

Fred worked in the woods all his life as a skidder operator.  He worked for Wayne Archer in Deersdale Camps, he also worked for Scott Montreuil.  Fred loved fishing and hunting with buddy friend Aaron. 

He is predeceased by his father Don Burton, mother Mary Burton, sister-in-law Shirley Burton and baby Andrea, and brother-in-law Don Drummond.

Respecting Fred’s wishes, the family will have a graveside service at a later date.
