Guy Erwin Harris

Harris, Guy    1936 - 2025

It is with great sadness that the family of Guy Harris of Tracy, NB announce his peaceful passing on June 15, 2025 at Hospice House in Fredericton, NB.  Guy was born on November 28, 1936 to the late Marie (Duplisea) and Alexander Phillips. 

Guy is survived by his wife Ellen Harris, who he loved dearly.  He also leaves behind his children; Jarvis Harris of Tracy, Valerie Nash of Geary, Rita (Bob) Lajoie of Fredericton, Alfred (Marvena) of Tracy and Wayne Harris of Tracy.  Seven grandchildren; Logan, Tyrel, Brandy, Anthony, Allysa, Abbeygail and Dylan, eleven great-grandchildren who he loved with all his heart, along with his extended family.  He will also be missed by his fury friend Baily Jean.

Guy enjoyed life after retirement, he enjoyed playing bingo, 63’s and crib.  He enjoyed watching sports and news on TV. He also loved to socialize at the local dinner while eating his meals.

The family would like to thank the staff, nurses and doctors at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital for their care and compassion.  Also, the staff at Hospice Fredericton , who only looked after him for a short time, but provided such great care.

Family and friends are invited to Visitations at Sunbury Funeral Home on Wednesday June 18th, 2025 from 1-3 pm. A Graveside Service will follow at 3:30. the same day in the Tracy United Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Maurice Hatfield officiating.

For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations in Guy’s memory would be appreciated by the family to the Tracy United Baptist Church Cemetery or Hospice Fredericton.
