Harold Lloyd Carr
With great sadness, the family of Harold Carr (Sam) of Tracy, NB, wish to announce his peaceful passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on February 15, 2023 at the age of 88. Harold was born on September 9, 1934 to the late Mary (Nason) and Clarence Carr. He was the loving husband of the late Evelyn (Smith) Carr.
Harold is survived by sons; Terry (Patty) and Duane (Annette), daughters; Donita and Ronda (John), daughter-in-law Cindy, special grandson Billy Joe (Beth), several grandchildren and great grandchildren, brother Dennis, sister’s; Hilda (Dave) and Teresa, special friends; Marie and Kathy Michon, Bruce Roy and Kevin Regnier and several nieces and nephews.
Harold worked in the construction field as a supervisor and equipment operator and was in the military for 3 years as a peacekeeper. He loved to spend time at his camp at Matts Island doing some hunting. And in his spare time, he enjoyed looking for bargains at the local yard sales. Harold was a lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #55.
Along with his wife and parents, Harold was also predeceased by his sons; Mitchell and David, a granddaughter Courtney, brothers; Howard, Cecil, Robert and William, sisters; Marion and Ruth.
The family wishes to thank Dr. John Richardson, healthcare workers Theresa Constantine and Mabel Hill, and Extra Mural team and of course Donita Carr and Beth Carr for all their help and care.
Family and friends are invited to the Royal Canadian Legion Br #55 for a Celebration of Harold’s Life on Saturday February 18, 2023 from 2-4pm. Interment will be in the spring. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Br # 55, Ladies Auxiliary.
