It is with great sadness that the family of Jacqueline May (St. Amand) Nason of Fredericton, NB announce her passing on August 5, 2025 at the York Care Center at the age of 92. Jacqueline May St Amand (Nason) was born May 22, 1933 in Verdun Quebec, a suburb of Montreal.  She was the daughter of the late Hermeline (Turpin) and Wilfred St. Amand.  Jacqueline has gone to be with her loving husband Burton, who just passed away a month ago.

Jacqueline will be dearly missed by her children; Gayle (Rob) Armstrong Scott (Lise) and Blair Nelson, two stepchildren; Andy and Michael (Vikki) Nason, she was blessed with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her sisters-in-law Glenna Bell and Carol King, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Jaqueline was a member of the National Ballet of Canada along with being a print model while living in Montreal. She had a passion for dancing, she particularly loved ballet, tap and square dancing along with listening to music.  She and Burt were avid cribbage and euchre players. An evening never went by where she and Burt wouldn’t play multiple hands of crib. 

Along with Jacqueline’s parents and husband, she is also predeceased by her older brother Edward.

Family and friends are invited to a Graveside Service on Friday August 8, 2025 at 11am at the Gladstone Cemetery in Fredericton Junction, NB with Rev. Maurice Hatfield officiating.
