Luke, James Ralph The family of James (Jim) Luke of Tracy, NB, wishes to announce his passing on November 21, 2021. Jim was born in Cork, NB on January 28, 1945, to the late Isabelle (Arsenault) and Joseph Luke.
Jim is survived by two daughters; Donna (Stephen) Jonah and Sylvia (Eric) Whitaker, and a son Terry (Pam) Luke, two sisters; Dorothy Little, Rose Nason, three brothers; Francis, Ray (Bea) and Ronnie (Diane) Luke, six grandchildren; Dustin (Amiee), Jessica (Jared), Joshua, Greg, Shaelyn (Dustin), and Brandon (Lindsay), four great grandchildren; Elizabeth, Brayden, Decklan and Alexander,as well as several nieces and nephews.
Jim was a Jack of all Trades, but carpentry was his passion. He preferred working with real wood (and not that fake….). Music was a big part of his life, he loved to play guitar with family, friends, and Gene and the boys. He was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, but his favorite part was boiling the kettle. Anyone that knew Jim, knows he loved his dozer, his family might say that he spent more time with his dozer than he did with his kids. Even though he would say that he wasn’t always the “Best Cat”, he was generous to a fault, often putting others a head of himself.
Along with his parents, Jim is predeceased by five sisters; Marg MacDonald, Mildred Hetherington, Mary Martin, Sadie McLean, Helen Harris, a brother Cecil Luke and a grandchild Tony Luke.
