James Miner Obituary

Miner, James Norman. - It is with great sadness, that the family of James (Jimmy) Miner announce his passing on January 6, 2021 at home in Fredericton Junction. James was born on 14 May 1939, and lived most of his life in Doaktown, NB.  He was the son of the late Vada (Munn) and Partlow Miner.

Jimmy is survived by his sister, Gloria Dickeson (Stafford Nason) and Percilla Donnelly.

Nieces; Susan (Etienne) Theriault and Patricia Tapp. Nephew, Trent (Jeanne) Dickeson and grand niece, Amanda Tapp. He was also blessed with many extended nieces and nephews. 

Jimmy grew up on the Miramichi River, he worked as a woodsman, logging and worked at the Mill.  He was a fishing guide in the area for years and took many tourists down the Miramichi.

By Jim’s request, there will be a private graveside service at Gladstone Cemetery at a later date.
