It is with heavy hearts that the family of Janet Irene (Mersereau) Duplisea of Tracy, NB announce her passing at White Rapids Manor on December 9, 2022.  Janet was born in Tracy, NB on August 5, 1933 to the late Sadie (Mullin) and John Mersereau.  She was the wife of the late Douglas Duplisea.

Janet is survived by a daughter Colene (Robert) Stennick, two sons; Philip (Avis) and Wayne (Angela) Duplisea, a chosen son Kendall Nason, sisters-in-law Doris Mersereau and Joanne Duplisea,  grandchildren; Janice (Sean), Keith (Karen), Aimee (Ken), James (Coralee), Steven (Sara), Christina (Mitchell), Wayne (Marissa), Gregory (Samantha) , great grandchildren; Alorah, Camille, Madison, Kylie, Karly, Baillie-Ann, Samantha, Bailey, Reilly, Morgan, Connor, Hailee, Emma, Megan, Sylar, Nathaniel, Annalise, Ryan, Cameron, Warren , great great grandchildren Amelia, Novahlee, Skyra, Linkin, Grayson and Larissa Mae, and many nieces and nephews.

Janet was a devoted mother, wife and spending time with family and friends gave her the most joy.She was faithful member of the Tracy United Baptist Church and belonged to the Tracy Ladies Baptist Church Club, the Orange Lodge Branch #1175 and the Hospital Aide.In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting and doing embroidery, and was known for her baking. Janet was very proud to be a 15-year member of the Red Cross.

Along with her husband and parents, Janet is predeceased by her brother Treston Mersereau and her sister Lanore and her husband Payson Nason.

The family would appreciate donations in Janet’s name to White Rapids Manor, Alzheimer’s Society or to Donor’s choice. Due to allergies, artificial flowers only. The family wishes to thank the staff of White Rapids Manor for their compassionate care.

Family and friends are invited to Sunbury Funeral Home in Central Blissville, NB for Visitations on Monday December 12, 2022, from 3-6 pm.  A Funeral Service will be held at the Tracy United Baptist Church on Tuesday December 13, 2022 at 11am.  Internment will follow at the Tracy United Baptist Church Cemetery.
