Hoyt, Joan Mary (Garrett) of Hoyt NB. passed away at the White Rapids Manor on October 31, 2013. Born November 30, 1930 in England to the late Winnifred (Palmer) and George Garrett.
Joan was a Homemaker to her family. She loved knitting, painting, gardening and wood carving, she and her husband Jim run a store together in Hoyt for a number of years until retirement.
Joan is survived by her husband Jim Hoyt, four sons: Alec (Evelyn), Brian (Myra), Jeffery(Rhonda), James (Yvette), sister Jean Cox-Greene (Eric Greene), two brothers: Edgar (Ann), Graham (Marian), Son-in-law Doug Jones and several grandchildren. Besides her parents, she is also predeceased by her daughter Linda Jones.
Relative and Friends are invited to Sunbury Funeral Home to pay respects to family on Sunday Nov. 3, 2013 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be at St. Lukes Anglican Church in Hoyt on Monday Nov.4 at 2pm with Bishop George Lemmon officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Luke’s Cemetery. Reception to follow at St. Lukes.
