Joseph Maurice Rossignol

Rossignol, Joseph Maurice.  It is with broken hearts the family wishes to announce the sudden passing of Joseph Maurice Rossignol of Tracy, NB, on September 19, 2018.  Maurice (Moe) was born on November 22, 1949 to Jeanette Rossignol (Dubé) and the late Joseph Simeon Rossignol.

Along with his mother, Maurice is also survived by two daughters; Marie Rossignol (best friend Paul Lapointe) and Amanda Rossignol, one sister Diane Martin (Gaston), one brother Raymond Rossignol (Fern), three grandchildren; Mason, Emma, Chloe and several nieces and nephews.

Maurice was a licensed high pressure welder that worked on many of the bridges in this area and at Point Lepreau for many years.  He was very proud to be a welder and even more that his only grandson followed his footsteps and is also a welder.  Maurice was a good friend to many, he was always glad to help those in need.  He was kind and tender hearted and loved life to the fullest.  No matter what the situation, he always looked for the positive.  His quick wit and sense of humour will be solely missed.

 Along with his father Simeon, Maurice is predeceased by his brother Bertin.

Visitations will be held at Sunbury Funeral Home in Central Blissville NB on Sunday September 23, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8pm.  The funeral will be held at Gladstone Mission Church, in Tracy, NB on Monday September 24, 2018 at11am.  Interment will be at a later date.  Donations in memory of Maurice may be given to the Village of Hope or donor’s choice.  Arrangements are in the Professional care of SUNBURY FUNERAL HOME, Central Blissville, NB (368-2413). sunburyfuneralhome.com
