The family of June Elizabeth (Rogers) Peterson wishes to announce her passing on April 3, 2024 at Pine Grove Nursing Home.  June was born on August 26, 1947 to the late Pearl (Benjamin) and Emmerson Rogers.  She was the loving wife of the late Percy Peterson.

June will be dearly missed by her daughters; Tanya (Darren) Mallaley and Janet (Nevi) Mockler, sons; Andrew (Amy) and Brent (Angela) Mockler, a brother Roy (Brenda) Rogers, eight grandchildren; Nathan, Matia (Jeremy), Olivia, Grace (Jason), Tanaya, Maximus, Cheyenne and Ashton, three great grandchildren; Ellyanah, Charlie and Lillian, her sister-in-law Marjorie Schofield, stepchildren; Mary Peterson, Nancy (Danny) Peterson, Betty (Arnold) Thomas, Shirley (John) Baker, Leona (Bryan) Goodine, Leo (Norma) Peterson, Edward (Elaine) Peterson, Robert (Diane) Peterson and Sandy (Oral) Merritt, as well as, step granddaughter Mandy Goodine and many other step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. Her fur babies Holly and Petey, and her feathered companions Ozzy and Rocky will miss her loving companionship.  She is also survived by her dear friends Louise, Dorothy and Winnie.

June was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  Her devotion to her faith carried her through all the hardships of life.  She was a very sociable woman, with many friends and activities she enjoyed, like pizza dates with her close friends.  In her spare time she loved to cook and really enjoyed coloring.  She enjoyed travelling, camping and made new friends everywhere she went.

Along with her husband Percy and her parents, she is also predeceased by a grandson Damien, her brother Emmerson, a step granddaughter Judy Thomas and her cousin Daniel Benjamin.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate any donations to the First United Pentecostal Church of Noonan or Pine Grove Nursing Home.

Family and friends are invited to the First United Pentecostal Church of Noonan for Visitations on Tuesday April 9, 2024 from 6-8 pm.  A Funeral Service will be held at the same location on Wednesday April 10, 2024, at 2pm with Rev. Bruce Arsenault officiating.   Following the service, light refreshments will be served.
