Junior Rainsford Boone

Boone, Junior Rainsford of Gagetown, NB, passed away peacefully at home on November 29, 2023 surrounded by love.  Junior was born in Gagetown, NB on July 18, 1936 to the late Mini (Smith) and Frank Boone. He was the loving husband of the late Patricia Boone.

Junior was a loving husband, father, papa and great-papa who will be missed by his daughter Carol Lee (Mike) McNeil of Fredericton Junction, five grandchildren Meghan (Chris) of Fredericton NB, Laura (Sebastian) of Hamilton ON, Benjamin of Fredericton Junction, Bruce (Kathleen) of Upper Gagetown and Sarah (Nathan) of Burton, six adorable great grandchildren Tyson, Carter, Charlotte, Gauge, Deacon and Rylan, his sister Joan Connolly, two brothers; Clifford (Blondine) and Reginald (Judy) Boone, and several nieces and nephews.  

 Along with his parents and wife, Junior is predeceased by daughter Kristy Lynn Allen (Tim) and brothers, Hugh, Covert, Eldon, and sisters Lorraine and Yvonne.

The family would like to express their profound gratitude to Dr. Kelsey Cameron and Cate McKenzie.  Also special thanks to Bernard and Christy from Oromocto Extra Mural.

Following Junior’s wishes, the family will have a private Graveside Service. Donations in his name can be made in his name at the donor’s choice to the Gagetown School Breakfast Program or the Sunbury West Food Program. Both donations can be made by contacting the corresponding schools.
