It is with great sadness that the family of Kathy McLaughlin announce her passing on June 7th, 2026 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital.  Kathy was born August 9, 1955 in Fredericton Junction, NB to the late Dorothy (Harris) and Arthur Williams.  She was the loving and devoted wife to her husband Bob McLaughlin for over 45 years.

Along with her husband Bob, she will be dearly missed by her adoring sons; Jason and Michael McLaughlin, her brothers; Tom and James Williams, her sisters; Janie (Galen) Golden, Vicky (Raymond) Mott, Gale (Steven) Golding, Donna (Lewis) Golden, sisters-in-law; June (Mike) Deegan, Debbie (Craig) Davenport, and several nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.

Kathy was a beautiful, kind, and loving lady.  Her family was the most important thing to her and she cherished spending time with them all.  Kathy was a devoted member of the Tracy United Baptist Church and was involved in many activities at the church.  She was always willing to lend a hand in whatever capacity was needed. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and cooking.

Including her parents, Kathy is also predeceased by sisters-in-law Ida Nason and Shelley Williams.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate any donations made in Kathy’s name to the Tracy United Baptist Church or Hospice Fredericton.

Family and friends are invited for Visitations at the Tracy United Baptist Church on Thursday June 11th, 2026 from 5-8 pm.  A Celebration of Kathy’s Life will be held at the same location on Friday June 12th, 2026 at 2pm with Rev. Maurice Hatfield officiating.   Reception will follow the service.  Interment will take place at a later date, when her monument is installed.
