The family of Keith Maxwell Harris wish to announce his passing at the age of 102 on June 4, 2026.  Keith was born April 27, 1924 in Cork NB to the late Myrtle (Dewitt) and Chester Harris.  He was a faithful husband to the late Helen (Luke) Harris for over 69 years.

Keith will be dearly missed by his two daughters; Theresa Breen and Carolyn Carr, his son Richard Harris, a sister Edith Ball, three brothers; Don, Travis and Alden Harris, seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, along with several nieces, nephews and friends.

At the age of 102, Keith has led a very full life. He spent his career working for CP Rail doing maintenance on the tracks.  In later years, he worked in the woods and was a hunting guide. Keith was a kind and gentle soul; he loved to visit people and have people drop in on him.  In his free time, he loved to be at the Camp, fishing hunting and 4 wheeling.  Most Sunday evenings, he would be glued to the “Sunday Night Jamboree”.

Along with his wife Helen, and his parents, Keith is also predeceased by a son Ralph, grandchildren; Amie, Laura and Melanie, a great grandchild Layla, sisters; Eloise Thomas, Delia Bishop, Marie Pollock, and Hilda Ball, brothers;  Arthur, Howard, Elmer, Gordon, Foster, Gilford, Wallace and Erwin.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate any donations made in Keith’s name to White Rapids Manor, or the Tracy United Baptist Church Cemetery.

Family and friends are invited to Sunbury Funeral Home for Visitations on Sunday June 7th, 2026 from 2-5pm.  The Funeral Service will take place at the Tracy United Baptist Church on Monday June 8th, 2026 at 11am with Rev. Maurice Hatfield officiating.  Interment will follow in the Tracy United Baptist Church Cemetery.
