Kim Gellert Obituary

Gellert, Kim

Kim Gellert passed away peacefully surrounded by love on November 21st 2023 in her 63rd year of beautiful life. As per her last wish, she passed in the comfort of her home in Back Bay, New Brunswick, after a brief and courageous battle with lung cancer.

Kim was a long time employee of York Finch and the Humber River Regional Hospital ER Department in Toronto, Ontario. Caring for others is what she did best. Kim and her partner Joe moved to New Brunswick 6 years ago, and she fell in love with the Maritimes. She enjoyed watching the deer in her backyard and the high tide come in. Kim was a great storyteller and with her, you were always sure to have a great laugh and a smile on your face.

Kim was the beloved mother of Brandon (Laura) Gellert, Michelle (George) Trigiani, and proud grandmother of Georgia Rae.
Predeceased by her parents Colin and Marlene Clattenburg. She will be greatly missed by her loving partner Joseph McIntosh, and his children Lisa (Peter) Hebert, Donnie McIntosh and grandchildren Shaylene (Dylan), Katelynn, Amanda and Michael. Kim was a warm and loving friend to all, and will be missed by many. Her family will forever be grateful for the time they got to share with her.

Cremation will take place and a private memorial service will be arranged at a date to be determined. A special thank you to the home care nurses and doctors who took great care of her and allowed her to fulfill her wish of staying in the comfort of her home throughout her cancer journey.
