Hoyt, Lawrence (Jim)
The family of Lawrence (Jim) Hoyt wish to announce his passing at White Rapids Manor in Fredericton Junction, NB on Monday March 10, 2025. Jim was born on April 4, 1928 in Saint John NB to the late Jennie (Lunnen) and Bayard Hoyt. He was the husband of the late Joan (Garrett) Hoyt.
Jim is survived by his four sons; Alec (Evelyn), Brian (Myra), Jeffery (Rhonda) and James (Yvette) Hoyt, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Jim worked as an Electrical Mechanic for NB Power. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodwork, hunting and piloting planes over NB.
Along with his parents and his wife Joan, Jim was predeceased by his daughter; Linda (Hoyt) Jones, sister Euginia Boudreau and his two brothers Scovil and Elliot Hoyt.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate any donations made to the Canadian Cancer Association in Jim’s name.
Family and friends are invited to Visitations at Sunbury Funeral Home in Central Blissville, NB on Monday March 17, 2025 from 1 - 2:45 pm. A Funeral Service will follow at 3pm at Sunbury Funeral Home with Rev. Robert McLean officiating. Interment will be in the spring.
