Lewis (Bud) Johnston

The death of Lewis (Bud) Johnston of Fredericton Junction, NB occurred February 5th, 2020 at the Chalmers Regional Hospital.

Born May 3rd, 1933 in Beaverdam, NB he was the son of the late Robert and Clara (O’Leary) Johnston.

Bud was a gentleman who showed pride in his property giving great attention to detail. He did it the old fashion way with no power tools, his favorite tool was the bucksaw. Bud attended the Anglican Church in the parish of Fredericton Junction. He enjoyed a good card party and looked forward to his weekly meetings with his coffee buddies. He will be greatly missed.

Survived by nieces and nephews, Heather (Johnston) Lyon, Tracy (Johnston) McKay, Malcolm Boyd and Rebecca (Boyd) Whittico; aunts, Kay and Betty O’Leary; cousins and many good friends.  Bud was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

In addition to his parents, Bud was predeceased by brothers, Arthur and Earl; sisters, Patricia Johnston, Roberta Johnston, Elizabeth Gomke, Martha Boyd and Carol-Anne Nixon.

Resting at Saint Andrews Anglican Church, Fredericton Junction, NB on Saturday, February 8, 2020 with visitation from 11:00 until service time.   Funeral Service will take place 2:00pm from Saint Andrews Anglican Church. Internment will take place in the Anglican Cemetery in Beaverdam, NB at a later date.
